Scenic Overlook on 80 eastbound
Since I don’t travel that way too often, I’m not sure between which exits the overlook is on the Eastbound side. I need to meet someone to get something and I don’t want them to travel far off 80 to do so. Not a stranger so no worries.
Is it after Hackettstown exit, 19 and before the one for Mount Olive?

Bug3Keep in mind that if the person you are meeting needs to go back west, they’ll need to drive 80 East a few more miles to the Byram exit so they can turn around.
A better bet may be to meet at the Mountain Villa parking lot so it’s easier for them to get on 80 West.
D-ManPV The Scenic Overlook doubles as a rest area for passenger cars, with no trucks allowed. There is a truck rest stop a little further east on I-80.
joyful We have used Panther Valley, in front of the Pub, as a meeting place for people coming off Rt80. They can get right back on, either direction, in less than 2 minutes.
JeffersonRepub East is fine as the person will be heading that way coming from PA heading towards 287.

Bug3, I personally wouldn't recommend it upon leaving the Scenic Overlook, but who am I to tell you how to drive?

Di All went well. A 2 minute stop. There was a group actually taking pictures of the scenes.
