Old Bakery on 57
Does anyone remember what Bakery was on Rt. 57 back in the 80's? Was it Harper's? I was walking into Fujiyama the other day and for some reason I thought of it (and their clown head cupcakes). I think it was where Fujiyama is now, but I cannot remember...

Greg It was Hoffman's, a German owner. It was sold, the name was retained, the new owners were from the Middle East, and they expanded the store.
OnTheEdge I remember Hoffman's and the owners well. Original owners were the Hoffmans. It was bought and run for several years by the German couple. They lived in East Jersey (Jersey City I think) and they told me they slept in the back room at the bakery during the week and went home on weekends.
