Stoves in Panther Valley
I am moving to PV soon, and I was wondering if having a gas stove is something that would be approved. I have not yet read everything the HOA/PV approves, but I have noticed many units with electric rather than gas. I believe gas fireplaces are allowed (my unit in Wood Duck has one) so I would assume a gas stove is also. If anyone knows, please let me know! Thanks :)
Amanda you can have either...........the previous owner of my townhouse brought in a gas line for outside barbeque and one fireplace - unfortunately the stove is electric - only because it would have been a big construction job to bring the line to the kitchen - either is permitted.......

We installed for ours and it was fine. Electric was the easier/cheaper way to go for those units, but many owners upgraded through the years over to gas.
ladee vee State laws prohibit propane grills in condo communities and charcoal, depending on community bylaws, must be kept a certain number of feet from a structure.
So you are limited to either electric grill or installing a gas line and utilizing natural gas.
You may need an adaptor if your current gas grill is propane-different fuel than nat. gas.
Stymie Amanda, don't be offended. As you can see, people are happy to share their personal experience on whatever is asked. Sometimes you might get a snippy response but you just learn to ignore them and continue to be a part of HL. Not sure if you're new to the area or PV, but welcome anyway.
