All My Dogs of Cancer
Anyone hear about a lot of pets dying of cancer in our area? I have lived in Oak Hill (Independence) for 27 years, and all three of my dogs have died of stomach cancer. Now, I have a cat dying of cancer. Lost four other cats over that span, but I do not believe any of them died of cancer. Apparently, Warren County is near the top for cancer deaths among humans in the state, which surprises me. So, do we have a problem with cancer in this area, or am I just angry due to grief?
The same company that sells you lawn chemicals also sells you cancer medication. The public has been lied to.
I took our Ziva for a bath at Mansfield pet store. The towels were stinky but is was all they had. A week later I noticed a small patch of missing fur. Our vet said cancer but all of her hair fell out and was replaced with bloody lesions. She was a rescue
I live near Target in Hackettstown. My cat died of nasal cancer 10 years ago. I don't really know of other pets who got cancer in this area, but you've certainly had a lot of pets die from it and I would be wondering, too.
I live in Sussex and my dog died of cancer. Could there be a connection. I also have a friend who lives in Morris county. His cat died of cancer age 19. Scary stuff
Buy spring water in bottles for all your pets.
don't let them walk in a pesticided lawn.
feed organic food.
keep your cats IN the house, don't let them be p/t outdoor cats!!
Hackresident - actually bottled water is not safe for your pets - or people. It is filled with hundreds of chemicals and microplastic particles. Filtered tap water is the better option.
For humans, Warren County is not a cancer cluster. Not as good as Eastern Counties but much better than South of us.
