Serving Jury Duty via Zoom
Apparently not, Bernie. This is from the NJ Courts webpage:
"New Jersey Jurors
All jurors will perform their first day of jury service online by video. Some jury proceedings will then be conducted in person, as authorized by the Supreme Court. Jurors will be able to raise any questions to the judge, including any COVID-19 concerns, prior to reporting in person.
Please confirm your jury service through the juror eResponse system as early as possible. The deadline for responding online is the Thursday before your jury service is scheduled to begin. After that date, you will need to call your county jury manager and ask for a new reporting date.
Please check your county’s juror reporting message page located here for more information.
Face masks are required in courtrooms and jury assembly rooms. Jurors may wear their own face mask. Masks containing words or offensive symbols are not permitted. The Judiciary will provide disposable masks for jurors who do not bring their own.

I should add I do not agree with that "policy" at all.
Thanks Greg, for this information. I was just summoned to Warren County Jury duty a month ago and no one told me about this. It said I have to appear for jury duty starting April, 2022. in Belvidere.
My mom had "zoom" jury duty last week, (Morris County), she is 73 and has never used zoom. I had to set it up for her, test it, and then hope it worked on the day she was to appear which caused unnecessary stress on her. It was just for the jury selection process, If you are selected you have to appear in person at the courthouse the day your trial starts. Thankfully she was not selected.
I did back in August. I sat in the “waiting room” waiting to be talked to for 3 days. Then they interviewed me. Unfortunately, I got picked. I had to appear in court for a whole week.
