Washington Diner

We recent ate breakfast @Washington Diner. Have they sold to new owners? Food was good, but place seemed different and menus were totally different. Change can be good, but was just wondering.

I don’t think they were sold but the menu did change after they reopened from the lockdown.

Well it’s definitely different as they did a remodel during/after covid. They also put in a new fire exit door that took out a booth. Maybe a change in inspectors happened that forced that. I live the place but there prices have gone up enough to keep me from going there as often as I used to. For years me and my fiancé (then girlfriend) and just friends in general would end up there two or three times a month. Used to be able to get dinner for two with tip for about $20. Now that we’re cracking $30+ for the same meals we only go a couple times a year

You are mad that dinner for two with tip is $30?

Yea- that is a lot- if this was 1980

Yea I am Josh, when the same meals were $10-$12 cheaper only a few years ago. Im glad you don’t have to worry that much about rising prices. Some of us don’t have theluxury of that
