Lifeline phone repair out of business?

Went to their place in Hastings. Sign is on outside of building but the inside is completely bare like they moved. Their phone number does not work. Their website has no mention of moving and still accepts appointments saying you meet at the Hastings square address. Curiously, their repair van is parked in the parking lot. Any info? If not about the fate of lifeline, any recommendations for a repair place beside rockaway? Ledgewood maybe?
Thanks!

Well you should acquaint yourself with the "Right to Repair" doctrine...do you know what that means?

Of course you don't - these large multi-national corporations don't want to give you the ability to repair what is broken on their product...

It goes from Iphones to John Deere Tractors - they do not want a 3rd party to be able to repair their defective products...like if you need a new battery on you Iphone to a chip on a John Deere Tractor - they want an authorized repair person to fix it...and get a kick back to the manufacturer to be authorized to fix it....

I guess thats not a problem till you have to fix your car,,,oops your mechanic cant fix a $50 problem cause the manufacturer is not authorized and take to the dealer for 500 bucks. That's were its all headed.

Follow Louis Rossmann on Youtube - he fights Apple on a daily basis. What he can fix for 50 bucks Apple Genius Bar charges 500 bucks or they say get a new one. lol

Lifeline was extremely knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I just found out that they went out of business in Hastings Square last week when I went to the store to ask a question (after calling and the phone was either busy, or an odd voicemail came on..

They have or had (?) another location in Clinton. See if they are still in business there.

i recommend(ed) them beyond 100%.

Just an update on a semi-local repair shop in Flanders. I just emailed the for a battery replacement quote. I’ll update. The place is called Delta PC and Phone repair. Anyone use them?

Yes we used Delta PC. They were fair priced and did a good job with iPad.

I just used Delta PC for my brand new phone, super knowledgeable and friendly, had an issue with the replacement screen I sourced since its too new for his vendors to stock parts, and he worked with me to get the replacement sourced and installed.

Would 100% recommend.

Thanks Alla. I’ll give them a shot

Thank you for the Flanders' Delta PC & Phone Repair referral. It's good to know they are knowledgeable and fair priced! (since Life Line is not longer around).

Where exactly are they in Flanders?

I set up an appointment via text yesterday with Jay (pretty sure he’s the owner/sole employee). Drove there and the door was locked. Called and sent texts. No answer. I waited there for 20 minutes. Nothing. That was 4 hours ago and still no reply.
