Farewell Kirk Douglas

"I am Spartacus" has passed, yesterday, at 103 years of age. Just a few of my favorites:

Champion --- what a great oldie, he's on his way in 1949
Gunfight at the OK Coral ---- every copy of this was just that, a copy in one way or another, archetype buddy flick
The List of Adrian Messenger ---- one of my all time favorite movies
The War Wagon --- him and John W., anti-buddy flick, love the horse antics
The Man from Snowy River ---- not the lead, but he's still got it
Tough Guys ---- buddies can be old too....
It Runs in the Family ----- can three generations of Douglas be too much? Never.

Will we ever get a chin like his? Farewell Spartacus. I am Spartacus.

Kirk Douglas was perhaps the best male actor ever!! Glad he lived to the ripe old age of 103. R.I.P.
