Weekend and afterhour pediatric clinic
Hello everyone, I just moved to the area last year from 50 miles away and we still have my peditrician back there. It is Sunday and my 2 year old has a horrible cough. Is there any open walkin places in the area for after hours or weekends that I can have a doctor look at him. I would rather not wait till tomorrow. Thank you
SUmmer Plaza Family Care has weekend hours and ped in the house for evening Monday - Thursday. They also do not close for holidays, someone is always there part of the day. They are located behind the hospital in the West Wing on Willow Grove Street. 908 850 7800. Out of all the peds I prefere Dr Libert and Dr Caruso in this office. They also have two great GP for adults too!

Plaza family care Hackettstown office has 9-1 hours today. They are very good. Lots of good pediatricians in the area. 50 miles is too far unless it is a specialist.

maja That's the very reason I switched to Plaza. When we moved here we were also still using our pediatricians in Roseland. But four years ago my son woke up with a HORRIFIC diaper rash, and it was Easter Sunday. Found out about Plaza through a friend, and they took us right away. The doctor (now retired) prescribed a regime that gave him instant relief and quickly cleared it up. Now the whole family goes there. DH and I use Chang and Theune for our GP's and I like all the pediatricians, but the kids prefer Libert (she is really sweet).
