Landscape Design Companies

I am looking to see if anyone is familiar with, and can recommend a Landscape Design company in the Hackettstown/Great Meadows area who design, layout and complete the installation of residential landscaping. Looking for experts who are knowledgeable of the best plants, shrubs etc. for around our pool area. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Garden State Groundskeeping. 908-879-2228. They are located on Route 46 in Hackettstown now (they moved from Chester.) They've been in business about 40 years and they are really nice and do great work.

I was using Gardens of the World, nice folks, good stock, but became less customer focused, not returning calls, had to chase, too busy.

So I went with Stone Hedge Farms and Landscaping; been on East Ave, next to putt-putt forever. Glad I did. Steve has been there since 86 and I wish I went earlier.

He customized a mum display that sounds simple, but he knocked it out of the park. I ended up with week after week of different colors as he planted in such a way that I got three separate blooms spanning a few months' like a wave of new color every few weeks. Quite the show and well worth it. He also maintained, weeded, pruned, moved things around, and I cannot wait to have them back. Had a week reoccurrence and he was there the next day, Quick and clean and Steve keeps customer contact top of mind and will work with you to find best fit for best price.

My only complaint is that I did not find him earlier.
