Something strange happened on Waterloo Road
Now I haven't spoken about this in a few years, but upon remembering that this site exists, I'm curious to see if anyone else can relate to my story.
So, one night, at around 2-3 AM, me and a buddy were driving down Waterloo Road, when suddenly I got cut off by a motorcycle. I didn't think much of it until the rear red light vanished into thin air a mile or two down the road. Upon seeing this, I realized that I could not see the silhouette of a rider, or even hear the sound of a motorcycle engine.
I know. I sound paranoid and nuts. But it gets weirder.
So, I got cut off by the "motorcycle" near this state park closer to Stanhope than Hackettstown. And by this state park, there's a memorial sign for one John Wallace. Out of sheer curiosity, I googled his name, and I was absolutely taken aback by his cause of death.
He was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast who died in a collision with a sedan. The fact that I could only see the rear light and heard no engine would be perfectly explained if I could just simply prove that what I experienced is paranormal.
If you're still reading this, thank you. Every word of what you are reading is true- the friend in the car witnessed it with me. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or comments.
That's pretty wild. Did you find out if it happened on the anniversary of his accident?
Strange, yet not so strange. New Jersey has a reputation for many sightings like this on roads all over the state. We are not raised and educated to be receptive to these kinds of events that challenge our senses. Congratulations for your open mindedness. Keep being curious, that is how we all learn.
