I don't think they really enforce it. The plow driver plowed around the car all night long, and it was still there in the morning.....

They don't enforce it? Good to know.

TJS: I think you are correct that they don't enforce this regulation. Plow driver just plowed around the car all night long and the cars were still there in the am. Now the mess is still in the street but the cars have been moved. DPW has driven by the snow in the streets several times yesterday and the mess will stay there until it melts.

The Police don't enforce any parking laws in Hackettstown anymore.People are parked where it is cleary marked no parking. They even park in front of hydrants and nothing is done about it.

The police do in fact enforce the ordinance, as they should. Like any other motor vehicle offence, it's a roll of the dice. Sometimes you are the statue and sometimes you are the pigeon.

Well, send the pigeon down to Hurley and look at the cars parked facing the wrong way, day and night, and when the snow emergencies are in place,,,,

TJS: When the pigeon is done on Hurley, have it take flight down Carol so that it can see the vehicles during the snow emergencies. Not sure why, DPW doesn't notify the police on their first snow pass when the cars are in the street.
