How to get rid of old lawn tractor?
It still runs, altho I don't know how many years it's got left in it. Don't want to bother trying to sell it, I'd rather just have it hauled off ... does anyone know of someone who's always looking for mowers/tractors, perhaps for parts?
And no, I'm not gonna' park it out front with a "Free" sign on it, LOL.

de It's a Craftsman, probably about 15 years old, and I replaced the engine once. I still works, starting to smoke a little I think. I've finally hired someone to mow my lawn now (first time in my life lol), so I simply don't need it taking up space; I have a push mower if I need to mow something.
I used the Classified Ads on here once for a push mower we didn't need anymore. It was gone in less than 2 hours. Cash sale.
Lonesome Dove I understand wanting to just dump it for free and get it out of your life, but someone would be there with cash in a day or two if you posted it on the classifieds here for $50-$100. Unlike snow blowers, lawn mowing equipment goes FAST. Good luck!

How about doing what a lot of young entrepreneur's would do in your shoes, instead of asking for a new tractor to arrive at your doorstep, offer to take this running tractor, give it some TLC, so out and do a bunch of jobs so you can earn the money to buy a new tractor that you want.
That type of spirit would show me you truly are an entrepreneur willing to take the risk and work hard for it.
Either way, I hope you are successful, but asking for a new tractor here is not going to get you many leads.
The Rhyme Animal @ The Rhyme Animal - I don't think Ryan was saying he wanted a brand-new mower. I think he was saying we would like to have a new lawnmower to him, so he can have more than what he has now.
That’s the way o read read it, WhyAssume. Sounded like he WAS asking for this used tractor.
