Hackettstown New Year's Celebration on Main Street?
Does anyone know if Hackettstown is having a New Year's gathering on Main Street this year? I thought I heard the local craft brews and the BID might be organizing a new event on NYE this year - I believe other NJ towns offer this.
Tis the Season I don't believe anything official. I understand a few restaurants and the breweries are putting something together. I would inquire with one of them to see if there is anything going on as far as an "organized" evening.
Also obviously check with the BID as they should be aware of any word on the street type of information....

Jim L The Hackettstown Bid announced an event on 12/31 from 900PM-1230AM. Details to follow on the BID website.
The press conference was held today in front of Man Skirt related to a NYE event. There is a video posted by WRNJ however I can't hear the audio.

A whole bunch of meh from me on this. Hackettstown is not NYC or even Morristown. While I don't wish this to fail, I just don't see this being something that a lot of people will go to long term.
Time will tell, obviously.
Route 46I always thought the town should participate in the First Night events. I have attended them in Morristown in the past and quite enjoy that type of atmosphere. Obviously the breweries would not agree however. LOL! Lets face it in my opinion New Years Eve is armature night for many.

ManAboutTown i saw a clip for this last night on ABC news.could not believe they were talking about hackettstown and the ball drop.its also been talked about on many different radio stations.i think the town is going to be surprised.at the size of the turnout.

Spring fever WOW! What a turnout! I wanted to go but couldn’t. I’m glad so many people showed up. Hopefully I’ll be at next year’s. Happy New Year, everyone!
