Has anyone in town lost water pressure.
Grand Ave water pressure really low, but still on. HMUA offices closed, no o e answering phones.
Hills of Independence NO WATER
Just got through the emergency number. Obviously lots of people are reporting the problem. They said there must be a water main break somewhere - they're searching. No clue obviously of how long we will be without ....

Over 55 across from the hospital barely any pressure.....Anyone know what happened?
It appears pretty much of the entire town is now without...I cannot recall this every happening before like this. We are near the Hills of Independence and I am hearing all the way over by M and Ms and Brook Hollow and Oak Hill are affected too.
HMUA has located a large water main break on Seber Road. They are in the process of isolating the break. Water should return within an hour for most of the effected area.
Live in Oak Hill, no water...as said. took a little ride and there is no activity on Seber Road...or at the HMUA. Darren TYnan was on RNJ and said they have no idea when water will be restored.
Water main break off Seber Road back by the park.

HMUA is aware of a water main break...... and is in progress of fixing it.
Some will have no water..... all others in town will have reduced water pressure
Don't want to jinx it, but my pressure seems to be up a little bit in the last 30 minutes.

I just got a 2nd nixle alert on this. HPD stated that the water main break has been isolated and residents should start getting their water back within an hour.
JayEdwardsWRNJ reporting this has mostly been fixed https://twitter.com/JayEdwardsWrnj/status/1108544876549943298
