Venue for Family Reunion
Looking for outdoor venue,possible park to have 40 people ,An overhang in
case of rain would be great, thankyou!

Greg The Lodge at Mountain Lake , Great Meadows, NJ ! They have indoors for your food and a patio with a fire pit right on the lake........you can rent kayaks, boats.......
Suburbia Schooley's Mountain part has a lodge. I know someone who had a small wedding there. The pictures looked really nice.
Joyce Polack The Sandbar Pavillion off Willow Grove Street can be used if you are a Hackettstown resident, no mailing addresses. Go to Hackettstown.net and you will find all the information and application to reserve a date and time.
It has grills and electricity for you use.There is a $100 deposit required and is returned to you if the site is not damaged and left clean after your use.
Remember Hackettstown residents only.
Towny Stephens State Park has a CCC (Civilian Conservation Corp) shelter large enough to accommodate 40 people. Last time I was there a couple of years ago the roof was rotting and the sky could be seen through some of the holes. Maybe it's been repaired by now.
Plus alcoholic beverages might not be allowed.

AJMS Mahlon Dickerson Reservation in Jefferson Twp has a 26' x 38' covered picnic area with seating up to 100 people and a softball field. Good luck getting a reservation at this late date, but you never know until you try.

ianimal Rutherfurd Hall in Allamuchy is a gorgeous venue. You can put up a tent on the patio overlooking Allamuchy Pond, or they also have room indoors in case it rains.

Have attended several celebrations there.
