The Sandbar Pavillion off Willow Grove Street can be used if you are a Hackettstown resident, no mailing addresses. Go to Hackettstown.net and you will find all the information and application to reserve a date and time.
It has grills and electricity for you use. There is a $100 deposit required and is returned to you if the site is not damaged and left clean after your use.
Remember Hackettstown residents only.
Stephens State Park has a CCC (Civilian Conservation Corp) shelter large enough to accommodate 40 people. Last time I was there a couple of years ago the roof was rotting and the sky could be seen through some of the holes. Maybe it's been repaired by now.
Plus alcoholic beverages might not be allowed.

Schooley’s Mt. Lodge is a great venue.
Have attended several celebrations there.

Private and quiet.
