I recommend reading through the Hackettstown CHARTER AND GENERAL CODE ORDINANCE found on the town website. Or you can simply call the Town Clerk, William Kuster and ask.

We have a couple of neighbors that keep their big trailers in their backyard all year. .
Another neighbor brings out his big trailer in the spring and parks it out in front of his house all summer. Now I think that is not allowed.
Another neighbor has put up a fence and it goes all the way out to the street. Our town police drive by and do nothing! They know the rules. .
CHAPTER 14. TRAILERS
14-4. Parking of Unoccupied Trailers.
Unoccupied trailers may be parked in an accessory garage or in a rear yard, provided that no living quarters are maintained within such trailers while so parked, nor shall any permit be required or fee to be charged for parking. (11-23-59 s2c)
14-5. Rules Governing Parking.
It shall be unlawful to park any trailer in such a manner that it cannot be readily moved.
It shall be unlawful to park any trailer upon a permanent foundation.
No trailer or attached accessory may be parked closer than ten (10’) feet from any sideline or twenty (20') feet from any rear boundary or twenty-five (25') feet from any public street or right-of-way. (11-23-59 s3)

Yo Bernie It's on the town website. Under Town Code. Greg already stated that in his post.

Isn't it funny.....you buy a house....yet you need to ask permission to do something as simple as build a deck.....put a camper in your backyard......have to ask permission in some towns to even cut a tree down on your own property!!!
