DPW Hackettstown
I contacted the DPW regarding town cleanup and if they will be picking up at homes of seniors over 65. I received a quick response and was told they would pick up but I had to call to schedule it. I have called several times, left messages and no call back. Is there a trick to getting a person there these days? Not complaining, just looking for advice from anyone that has had this problem.

Bessie I would drop by the shop if you are around during the day. The guys are usually there by 700. I would buzz by between 11:30 and 12:30 the lunch hour. I'd bet someone would be there to help.
Greg Bessie your best bet is to call early in the day before they start their jobs. They had a couple big emergencies the last couple of days with water main breaks so that’s probably why you couldn’t get them on the phone.
