Bike hitch for minivan :)

Looking to have a hitch installed on a older model minivan so we can take our bikes with us on our various adventures. Tried the dealership, but their prices were insanely high to have it installed. Looks like the best route is to buy the parts online and have it installed on the minivan. Any ideas of a local mechanic/business I can bring it to so it can be installed for a decent price? I am not looking for a bike carrier that is trunk mounted nor a roof mounted rack. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!.

Have you tried Marty’s?

Performance Trailer in Flanders might do hitch installs... surely they could at least point you in the right direction.

Thank you, Mark Mc. I have never heard of them, but I will check them out. Thank you, it sounds like a lead. :) I will def. check out Marty's as soon as the hitch is installed, Blackcat. I think you are right, they do sell lots of bike equipment. Thank you for your help.

No problem. Right down the street from the trailer place is West Chester Machinery.

My friend had a snow plow installed there, which is a heck of a lot more complicated than a hitch. Maybe they do side jobs, especially when it isn’t snow season. Just another option if the first lead doesn’t pan out.

I would take the job to Exoticustom on main street Hackettstown. They are professional and will have no problem.

Go to Marty's. They sell the hitch and work with local garage for installation.

Exotic custom put the hitch on our minivan a couple years back. We use it all the time! They did a great job and were reasonably priced.
