Kutztown Folk Festival
Has anyone been recently. We have been considering going this year and would welcome any reviews/recommendations.

pmnsk We went last year and enjoyed it. Lots of artisans with crafts, and food booths everywhere. Also music at different times during the day. Beautiful display of quilts.
It depends on what you're looking for. There aren't any rides if you have children who like rides.
hktownie I agree, don't take the kids. It's not as good as it use to be. I talked to some vendors last year. They said the fees are getting way to high, so they are leaving. I did notice at least 10 vendors gone who have been there for years and years. I enjoy it because it is small and not over crowded. Don't go on 4th of July that's when the crowd is at its worst. If you go on their website you can get discount coupons.
