Top Soil?

Looking for some recommendations locally for top soil......

I had great luck with Kirk Allen Trucking.

Their screened black topsoil was actually almost garden soil level! That said, I possibly would have asked them to mix in a couple yards of the clayish stuff in the full truck we ordered. In any case, the grass loved it and has grown well in it. If you're in a very shaded spot, you may wish to ask them about getting a mix as I mentioned, since the black topsoil only may stay a bit too "spongy" feeling after rain. Since the neighbor cut down the tree that put that section in the shade nearly all day, it's been super!

if you have a truck go to Saxton falls sand and gravel, eliminate the middle man. That's where most places around here get theirs from.
