Zika Virus
What I find most troubling about the Zika virus is the recent uptick in Guillain-Barre cases in Columbia as well as Brazil. Columbia is now reporting the first of Guillain-Barré-related deaths and I wonder if this more than the threat to pregnant women will impact the Olympics.

It sounds like a lot more critical research is needed. In the article I posted Columbia officials have indicated that they have not seen any increases in microcephaly and that cases will either explode or there are other reasons for the cases in Brazil.
Really bad for the Olympics. Like they didn't have enough problems to begin with.
For the record, I strongly dislike that they have now moved to using engineered mosquitos to fight Zika.
Zika and West Niles are bad viruses. Engineering mosquitos is a good thing. What good are mosquitos?
Birds and frogs have plenty of other bugs to eat. If mosquito s go extinct- Good!
Save the people. Kill the bugs.
And of course the Zika Virus Patent along with the mosquitos are owned by David Rockefeller since 1947...shrunken heads - gimme a break with an F in front - total BS.
imo
Anybody wake-up yet?
Live Scared - they want you to.

Not sure if anyone has read about the Elizabethkingia virus. The number of infected has risen to 59 with 18 deaths.... scary that haven't found the source yet although I think the CDC has ruled out water.
