Where can you buy compost in bulk - I live in the Califon Area. Needed to top dress my lawn for seeding this fall.

You can order compost from Morris County Municipal Utilities - http://mcmua.com/sw_veg.asp
Califon belongs to Washington Twp, Morris County. So if you don't need a lot, you may check if Mt. Olive compost facility still has free compost for Morris County residents.

Lena - Parts of the Califon zip code could be Washington Tsp, but Califon itself is in Hunterdon County. That may not apply.

I would suggest Tickners commercially.

Nature's choice or something similar is in Roxbury and they did deliver.....don't know about now. Also the garden centers for the most part sell bulk mulch or compost....

Hello. I bought composted manure mixed with top soil but I'm not sure if the farm I bought it from sold me composted manure?

I had four cubic feet delivered.

Maybe it's from all the rain we recently received but the straw still looks pretty fresh and so does the manure. Heavy smell too.

Anyone have any pointers?

I attached a picture of the straw.
