iPhone-imal I'm not sure how anyone can really applaud the hacking of AM (not directed at you iJay). Making the hacked data available on different sites or creating searchable databases is a horrible precedent - scary stuff really.

Calico696 While I've never gotten spam from AM, I had to stop using one email address because it was overrun with spam from adult hookup sites to kitchen gadgets to easy refinance loans. It's crazy how many shady sites could have your email address.
Even crazier is the gmail address that I use for HL (and only use it for HL) gets tons of spam. How is that possible?

Actually I do believe that it's a Federal offense to Hack and/or to publicly publish private "secured" information such as that.
I have a number of addresses that are associated with my name and others set up depending on the interest groups I belonged to on Yahoo, etc. That helped to keep everything organized because I had all my Horror/Suspense Movie interest Groups associated with one address and another for mostly music groups and postings. The oddest thing was when I registered at the Hopatcong (now Hopatcong/Sparta) Patch. I almost immediately starting getting tons of spam to my address associated with that account. Sad thing is that I used one that has my name right in the address. GRRR!
When Giants Stadium had the naming rights bids, AM was one of the businesses that put in a bid. That was the first time I had heard of them/her/it.

I just love that John Duggar has not one but two accounts with AM. This after the news of his molesting 5 girls, 4 of which were his sisters. All the while he worked for the Family Research Council, a conservative evangelical lobbying group trying to protect the traditional (non-gay) marriage as the "seedbed of virtue". Why is it always the people who clamor loudest for religious virtue and traditional values that turn out to be the ones with the most to hide? Lol.

You seem to imply that pedophile priests are/were good religious people who succumbed to temptation, rather than predators who only became priests because they knew it would afford them ample opportunity to victimize children. I tend to believe the latter.
What I find odd is that Duggar was somehow able to "cure" his pedophilia through prayer alone but needs rehab for a "porn addiction"? Isn't that the kind of thing that is typically mocked by people like him?
This just a disease like everything else today. Lets call it the" Ashley Madison Disease", since most are not choosing to partake in it.
Old Gent Pedophilia is defined as an adult (post-pubescent) being sexually attracted to children (pre-pubescent). Age isn't really a factor. Just because a 16-year old hasn't reached the age that has been artificially set as being an "adult" by society, that doesn't make the molestation of 5-year old children any less aberrant a behavior than if he were 18.
On the flip side, a person like Jared Fogle, who apparently liked to have sex with underaged post-pubescent girls, isn't technically a pedophile, because they weren't "children" in the biological sense, only the societal sense.
