Burning smell in Port Murray

About once a week there's a strong acrid smell of smoke in Port Murray along Main Street at night. I can't figure out where it's coming from but it's really unpleasant and I like to have the windows open when the weather's nice. Does anyone know where it's coming from? Is it legal to have open fires in the township?

Its not legal to have open fires in Mansfield, but people still do it. Call the town on Monday and see if they know what it might be.

Kids/bonfires? We used to go in the fields in upstate NY with a few cases of beer when I was a kid and party. Ah, the country life!

The local fire house used to have a bon fire once a week on Tuesday nights. Not sure it still happens in the warm weather, but they are usually out there when its cold.
