Ebay. You can get some really good flat screens and tube TVs for cheap.

You have to be extremely careful with eBay and electronics. Some are used when they say new, or broken even though they say in used working condition, or are otherwise damaged. Many times the really new TV's aren't bargains compared to many stores anyway.

If you want a low end TV, Walmart will sometimes have a special but you have to be quick and know your prices. Otherwise Best Buy usually has the lowest advertised prices. If you are into the bargaining thing you can try to go to P C Richard and haggle your time against a cheaper price.

what GC said - a friend has had a few unpleasant surprises from ebay.......
and yes you can definitely haggle at PC Richards.........at least you know you will get service if needed and a real warranty

"walmart had a 50" flatscreen for $198 guaranteed in stock."

* Hospital bills from being trampled by the Black Friday crowd at Walmart are not covered in the $198 price tag.

not too much trampling when its guaranteed in stock over a full hour.

and, when its under $200 for a 50" 1080/120 tv, no matter who slaps their name on it, it's hard to go wrong.
