HL Babies!
So I really liked Christine's idea too. Here's a spot to post all those beautiful baby pictures.
I'll start with my little one....
I don't know who could possibly look at that picture and not smile. I am grinning from ear to ear!
OMG Tracy thank you! I love looking at everyone's babies. My youngest grandson is sooo far away and I miss him so much. These pics are absolutely adorable!
Here is a pic of both boys in NC! I taught Jaren (oldest) to hold Julian's binky in his mouth and feel him sucking. Mommy says he is obsessed in doing it now. LOL!
AND today my oldest grandson was so proud he counted to 100 all by himself and got an award at school. Proud Gammy here.
Here is my adorable grandson Carson. He is six weeks old. Him and his twin sister Fiona are the loves of my life :) They are such happy babies! Had them overnight last weekend....what a wonderful treat that was! The next post is Fiona.
This is an older picture but it was during a special event at my store. He saw all the stuffed animals so we stuck him in the cabinet and he just played with them all. 8 months old.
My sweet (and devilish) youngest! I have been on vacation since Wednesday and the kids are back home
Christine - You have no idea! I saw him the other day and thought "Holy Crap, where did that Giant come from !!!". ;-)
OK, so maybe that's just me. Size is a bit relative to us Leprechauns. But still swear the boy is a Giant.
Christine/GC - Thanks so much. I wouldn't say giant, but he is definitely solid. :-)
This thread has kind of sucked me back in from orbiting as a lurker.
I would expect nothing less from the Weeanimal..he is absolutely precious beyond words. Happy Mothers Day to the Sheanimal tomorrow..treat her extra special on her first year as a mom.
Lets see all those babies in their patriotic wear! Come on I know there are a lot.
Today one of my grandsons turned 4. My newest grandson just got 2 teeth! here is the updated pic.
Tracy she is just growing so fast! She seems to always be happy also! Loved her outfit that's why I asked to see everyones. ADORABLE.
Thanks Rebecka! I think he has the best smile.
AWE he is growing fast too! Love is outfit at first I thought it said Rum not bum.... LOL . How do yu keep the sunglasses on? Julian tears his off right away!
I'm 16 weeks old today!!
I can scream and giggle
Hold small toys and objects
Trying to hold my own bottle (not quite there yet)
Over 16 lbs
and I have 2 teeth and another on the way!
OMG Tracy they have the same expressions! Too funny. Both just as cute as can be. There is so much love and happiness in that pic.
I love that pic Tracy! Saw it on FB and showed everyone. Our dogs don't sit that long to take pics with the babies. :(
I love that picture of your "two" babies, Tracy. I don't think you will ever have a problem with Lucky sitting still long enough to get a picture of him with Maggie. I have a feeling he rarely leaves her side...
Tracy - It looks like someone cooped up needs to be fed then taken on a long walk for a poop.
The dog wouldn't mind either.
Yeah, growing like a weed... he's gained almost 9 lbs and grown almost 6 inches in about 4-1/2 months.
Sheanimal's doing well so far... no worries yet. Thanks for asking.
He is getting so big!
Julian is 5 months and is doing so much now. I get daily videos for my fix. I miss him so much.
They are all so cute. Can't wait to be a grandma. Wait..... on second thought, yes I can!! My kids are in no rush, so thats a good thing.
I agree, botheredbyuu2....I love this thread as it helps refresh the memories of someone who has been a Mom, a Grandmother, and now a Great-grandmother...Keep the pictures coming, please!!
Weeanimal Yay! He's beautiful, ianimal, and his hair is really amazing. Maybe save a lock from his first haircut?
Do many babies have such nice hair like that?? I thought most of us were kinda bald at his age!
Weeanimal just keeps getting cuter and cuter. He shows his personality in all of his pictures and that is what makes him so adorable...
Tracy...you know I love that picture of Maggie...Did you buy her the car?
Jrsemom: Best wishes to your handsome young man on his 15th birthday...
So many adorable babies and many milestones!
My grandson Julian turned 7 months, can sit up by himself, giggles, gabs and loves to sing to rock n roll. He has mor4e hair on his eyebrows then the top of his head. He loves his big brother to wrestle with him. Loves peek a boo and skyping to see us! God I miss these kids! Jaren turned 4 and learned to swim this summer. Loves the water and is totally potty trained even at night. He is smart he can spell especially words his father has taught him! LOL
Ethan will be 6 next month. Here he is all dolled up. Such a handsome boy! Ethan loves legos like his Dad did. He follows directions and can put together ones that are for 12 yr olds.
He is sooo adorable and definitely looks like you ianimal! How's the mommy to be?
Here is a pic of our youngest grandson. We took a drive down a couple of weeks ago for 3 days. I needed a fix bad. He is growing so fast.
Here are brothers. I love to dress them the same so I bought them matching sweatshirts.
I also know that one of our HL babies had a first birthday celebration. We need to have HL see the pics. They are adorable.
That is one spankin' headband you got there, Maggie! I do believe you are in the running for Fanciest Baby. Happy birthday to you!
Grandson first time tasting ketchup, a little delayed reaction.

Haha, ianimal...we didn't let her at it too long and the all butter frosting was too stiff out of the fridge to make much mess with. Well try again on Thursday on her actual day.
Rebecka, I bought her that headband at the street fair. It matched the outfit I bought her perfectly!!
AWE! He is adorable Calico! Is he an Eagles fan too? LOL
Our Julian just turned 8 months old and no wears 12 month clothing. Here is the latest pic.Its his first taste of baby puffs and cheerios! He loved them.
It's not all fun and games... The wee one came down with an ear infection, pinkeye and a cold all at the same time. He's feeling much better today, but yesterday was downright awful.
Poor wee animal. Sending hugs to all, cuz when the wee one is not feeling good it tends to pass on to the adults.
Oct '14
Poor baby! I hate when they get sick. They can't tell us what's wrong. Hope he gets better quick!
Poor little thing. That's what Mags looked like on my birthday. Does he go to daycare? The necessary evil petri dish. Hope he's on the mend soon.
Look who learned how to pull himself up! They cannot let him roam free as he climbs up on the coffee table and tries to get on kitchen chairs. He is almost 9 months. Can't wait to get a chance to drive down there again
I dread that moment, Christine, with all my heart. I'm enjoying this brief period of time where you can set him down, turn your back for a second and be sure that he'll still be in that same place when you turn back around, lol.
Start preparing now! On a good point you do lose some weight running around after them. Of course I was the one who taught him to get on all 4's and crawl and I did stand him up in the port a crib. But the rest was him. Isn't that what Grandmas are for?
iPhone-imal, cherish it! I miss those days. Mine won't even be carried anymore. Walking is where it's at. Here she is running amok at Mama's for dinner.
OMG!! weeanimal is just the perfect James Dean! His hair makes the pic. I love all these pics.
He looks like he should be coaching Ohio State with his Jim Tressel sweater-vest (-;
jrsemom - That boy is too big, and so is his rock star sister. ;-)
To your son - Smart boy! Keep it up! Give 'em hell!!!
ianimal: There are so many captions you could put under that picture. I'll bet your little guy already has a very inquiring mind (like his Dad) and is going to get the lowdown on this man in the Red Suit...
jrsemom: Your daughter is used to all of this Santa stuff by now but for your poor little guy...this is a shocker and he is letting him know loud and clear that he really does not want any part of this! Save this picture forever!!!
Beautiful children! And some good looking Santas. Sometimes Santa does not look like he does at the end of the Macy's Thanksgiving parade. Just saying...
Tracy and family.....this is such great news! How exciting for you all. Lucky will love another little one to follow around and play with.
Tracy and gang! Congrats! Maggie and Lucky will make great bug siblings! How exciting!
Thanks, friends. We're really excited.
Yes, ianimal, new pics of the wee ones. How is life now with 2?
Life with two is about 4 times as hard as life with one, lol. Especially now that weeanimal is mobile and has learned how to open drawers and speedily empty the contents therein.... luckily, I get to go to work every morning, lol.
Here is weeanimal (almost) interacting with his little sister (he still doesn't pay all that much attention to her).
Congratulations Tracy!!! I'm so excited for you! Ianimal your babies are too stinking cute.
Those ianimal babies are so cute! Thank God they take after sheanimal! :)
Our youngest grandson, 11 months old, is now walking. They are on their way up here for a few days! Cant wait!
ianimal I noticed no difference from 1 to 2 who were 15 months apart but a huge difference from 2 to 3, which were almost 4 yrs apart. no difference between 3 to 4 but that was 5 yrs difference. Keep going kid! LOL!!
sheanimal just sent me a pic of weeanimalette in her new outfit... hard to believe she's almost a month old already.
Weeanimalette ( I love this name) is so adorable. Wondering where your wife shops, ianimal, for her special outfits. Have to do some shopping this weekend for our twin great grandchildren's first birthdays coming up soon.
weeanimalette is ready for her close-up... this pic is part of her birth announcement "photo montage". As her father, I can't help but be concerned about the amount of cleavage she's showing... but I got outvoted 1 to 1.
(yes, I'm just kidding)
weeanimallette looks so precious in that picture. I can picture it now....her big brother and ianimal out putting up barbed wire fencing around the house to keep the boyfriends away...she is going to be a beauty!
OMG ianimal, you're making me want to get my husbands vasectomy reversed. Too much cuteness!
"OMG ianimal, you're making me want to get my husbands vasectomy reversed. Too much cuteness!"
Uh oh! Run Mike, RUN!!!!! ;-)
You have one handsome young man there, jrsemom!! However, all of your children are not only good looking but very well behaved. You are very Blessed.....
It's actually a miracle to get a picture of all three of them without one making some goofy face! Typically it's one of the boys doing that though. It feels like yesterday they were born and now they are sitting here writing out their own valentine's and won't let me help!
Mommy of 3: Being a Facebook friend as well I have had the opportunity to see your children's sweet little faces for a long time now and I must say that they just keep getting cuter and cuter. Hoping you all love your new home. We all miss you...
Of course he's tired, jrsemom... constantly beating off all those little girls with a stick is exhausting (-;
weeanimalette 'tolerated' her V-Day photo shoot quite well, lol...
I haven't posted a picture of my gooser in awhile, so here she is on Saturday at my SIL's baby shower.
Congratulations on your new " little" one! boy or girl?!?
May your nights be sleep-filled and your blessings many ; )
Congratulations, sunshinenj! Welcome to mommyland. Hope you had a smooth delivery and are enjoying lots of new baby snuggles.
Daycare germs strike again...I'm home missing work with a sick baby again. :o(
Congrats Sunshine! That's one healthy looking baby!
Tracy, what daycare? That poor girl is always sick.
Wow Tracey. Didn't realize she was that old already. She's adorable. When is the new one due?
Christine - no matter where the kids go, from daycare thru high school (even college) they will catch something. Especially the little ones. Goes with the territory. Unfortunately!
Thanks, all. I will probably let her have a sweet tonight in honor of the occasion.
Baby #2 will be here mid July.
She is so adorable Tracy!
BBY My kids really did not get sick much after 2nd grade. 2 of them were never absent in 3 grades. Preschool was the worse and kindergarten second. I have records and don't know how I survived.
I think HL is in desperate need of more cute baby pics.
Tracy are you showing by now? :-P Not long to go...
super cute baby girl! she looks so mature for 20 mos. congrats!!! lovely little lady
In honor of Mother's Day I thought I'd bump this thread up. Here's my big girl with the cupcake she made for me at Chef It Up.
I think we could use some more adorableness around here, no? Anyone? (Wish I could contribute but all my "babies" have fur and that's another thread altogether....)
Anyone have some squeezable cheeks pics to make us all smile?
Ok, twist my arm ;-)
I'll gladly show off my "babies". Here are my daughter's 4 boys. They all make me smile every day!
Look at them all! Thank you! These cuties will brighten anyone's day. We are also need some updates from Tracy, too, right? Paging Tracy....
And anyone else? Don't keep all the sweetness for yourself. Spread it around.... we can all use some!
Adorable - they are all growing so quickly :-) Can't wait to see some Halloween updates.
All cute for sure! And they grow so fast!
My g-baby will 2 next month. He loved the sand, the waves, not so much yet!
Thanks.
Haha... Have to see what she can do when she can walk and run. Her big brother was hitting line drives at my head when he was 2, with whiffle balls.
Got a cute (at least *I* think so, lol) Halloween picture at Boo at the Boardwalk in Point Pleasant...
Very cute, ianimal. Congratulations, Metsman.
Still waiting on class pictures, but these were from the "first day of school" back in September.
Rebecca, you always twist my arm. My last post was Oct. '16, so here's an update on my 4 grandsons. Still adorable as always!
Grand-babies! Pic of a pic because we haven't seen them in a while. Too far away.
I was so lucky as a kid that my grandparents lived next-door.
Hard to get a pic of my two together these days, but my friend managed to get this one the other day. My little guy just turned 2 and my big girl turns 4 in exactly three months! Seriously, as Brad Paisley would say, don't blink.
Aww, they're all so cute and growing like weeds.
I hear you Tracy. It seems like yesterday that weeanimal had his first taste of solid food; now, he can whack down a cheeseburger all by himself, lol.
Tracy, i love that Lucky managed to get in the picture with your babies that are no longer babies!
Tracy you have a mini-me! She's the spitting image of mom. Love the look on your son's face. He's not too sure about the bear hug lol.
Haha, Lucky is never far from the kids even though she begrudgingly tolerates them sharing her house...one of the kids probably had food on their face.
Rebecka, I don't often hear that, but I appreciate it. :)
Man, this thread is almost 4 years old...
My heart explodes every time I look at this picture. This is a completely different child from his first grumpy two years on this earth. The past 10 months have been such a turnaround for him, and I have all the heart eyes for my little boy.
Tracy, I recognize that chair quite well. Very handsome little man.; he's getting big.
To avoid boring people, I'll only post a joint photo of the animal siblings (sans springtime background ala Lifetouch (-; )
(How do these people sucker us into paying for "school pictures" twice a year?)
Ah, what the hell... here's one more. I swear the people at Lifetouch must have some powerful drugs or hypnotic powers. I have NEVER gotten anything near as good as what these people can get when it comes to posing. It's amazing (and probably speaks to why my wife insists on buying them every time they do them, lol)
ianimal....they’re getting so big, both adorable! I bet they keep you very busy. What are their ages now?
Thanks, Bessie. You have no idea. I'm amazed at the amount of energy that can be derived from the small amounts of food that they actually eat. It's like they have nuclear reactors instead of a digestive system.
Weeanimal is almost 4 years, 3 months and Weeanimalette is a little over 3 years, 4 months.
Haha the looks on both of their faces in that last pic, ian! Something tells me they may have inherited their dad's sense of humor!
Super cute, ianimal. And I agree, what these photographers are capable of...amazing. Though, my daughter is the somewhat less photogenic of the two of late. I didn't do her any favors by picking a bad color background and dress for her that totally washed her out.
Here's one more of my pair, 4.5 and almost 2 years, 10 months.
I animal, they've got that Bonnie and Clyde look going on there, or am I misreading them?
I think she looks beautiful, Tracy... moms are always harder on their daughters (-;
No, Spring fever, you aren't... when they aren't at each other's throats, they're thick as thieves. I'm not sure which is worse, lol.
Tracy, your children are adorable and that hair color on both is beautiful! ( She doesn't look washed out at all.)
I animal, I know what you mean. I have two grand kids like that! They are either angelic or yikes!
Ianimal: Your " babies" have grown so much and are absolutely adorable. You must be very proud! Tracy: I saw your son's picture but not your daughter (not using names on here)...They also are growing up so fast and are really beautiful children. You and your hubby also must be so proud of what you "produced"..Denis' grandson is a real cutie pie too... (Wait until you have Great-grandchildren like us!)
I can believe it, Tracy... weeanimalette turns 4 in less than 3 months and weeanimal turns 5 in February. Yikes...
Did she make the cutoff to start kindergarten this year or does she have to wait until next year?
Nope, cutoff is October 1st. Womp womp. We have to wait another year before we can send her to measly half-day Kindergarten in Mount Olive.
Cannot believe your babies are 4 and 5 already, ianimal. Two beautiful little children!
They are really precious, ianimal. And so photogenic. I have a hard time getting my two to smile or be civilized for pictures. Plus as of two days ago, my poor little mister has two less teeth for any cheesin'. :(
It's a good thing pictures were LAST week. Weeanimal was at Nonna's house last weekend, fell off the couch and bit through his lip to the tune of six stitches. He ain't so photogenic THIS week, lol.
Oh No, ianimal...that is not good. Glad you got those great pictures before that happened.
ianimal, I am definitely thankful that we didn't have that kind of situation. Though I'm still pretty traumatized about the whole thing. Kids are so resilient. Within minutes of the double extraction, he was back to normal. I didn't even have to give him any Tylenol.
Thank you. No, this one is the first one on my side of the family. Kyron is on my husband's side. My dad finally became a great grandpa today! He's so happy! Her name is Alaina.
On a more somber note, for the faithful among us, please keep weeanimal's classmate Grayson and his family in their prayers. He was recently diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and faces a long hard fight. He's such an awesome little guy and it breaks my heart that he has to go through this...
Just prayed for Grayson, his family and his doctors. Please keep us updated on his condition, ianimal.
Calico, thanks for the well wishes. It's truly a tragedy that has a far reaching impact on so many of our families.
Spring Fever, thank you for your personal effort on little Grayson's behalf. You and Old Gent are the two people on here who I think of when I picture those who represent true Christians who personify his word. Not that you are the only two, and my apologies to those whom I have overlooked, but I respect you two immensely. As a person with little faith of my own, I respect you that much more.
Prayer said for Grayson to be cured. So many advances have been made regarding childhood cancers. I never doubt that St. Jude Children's Hospital uses my donations wisely.
Calico, congrats! Very exciting for your dad!
Congratulations, Calico. Alaina seems to be a popular name choice lately. It's my niece's name, who turns 1 in a couple weeks. A new baby in her daycare was just named that as well. All spelled the same.
ianimal, so very sorry to hear about little Grayson. Keep us posted if the family is in need of anything, or if they plan any fundraisers.
Update on Grayson... he's been admitted to Children's Hospital in New Brunswick and is receiving daily treatments. He has also begun collecting police department patches. So, if anyone has any contacts in local (or far away, even better...) police departments, please forward the attached information so that we can make this brave little boy's Christmas as merry as it can be, under these difficult circumstances. Thanks, everybody.
What a precious little girl, Calico. Congratulations on her baptism. Her christening gown is beautiful.
Thanks for asking about Grayson. He's fighting and staying very brave during his second round of chemo. He's got a great family including two wonderful older brothers who try to keep his spirits up. Please continue to keep the family in your prayers, if you are so inclined. Thanks...
Thanks for the update ianimal. I will continue to keep Grayson and his family in my thoughts.
Iman, Donna of olde tyme barber has a son with lots of patches displayed in shop. May have dups or know how to get some.
Ps: chicks love scars. Kaneau told us in in The Replacements.
Grayson is such an adorable little boy! Another prayer, coming your way, sweetie.
I can't believe it, Tracy. She is so grown up already..I remember when she was born. Beautiful too...just like her Mom..
weeanimal had his first day of kindergarten today. Only 13 years to go before I can kick him out of the house, lol.
Ianimal, he’s adorable! Kindergarten already? He’ll be in college before you know it!
I'm dying with all the first day of kindergarten pictures. Mine goes in one week. I took the day off from work so I can sob in the privacy of my home. I don't know why this is so emotional, since my kids have been in full time daycare since they were 8 and 10 months old. I think it's just the thought of them not being babies anymore.
Weeanimal looks so handsome and ready to take on the world.
I love how dressed up and cute kids look on the 1st day of kindergarten and 1st grade. Weeanimal is exactly what I mean! Have a happy year all!
Poor kid's backpack weighs more than he does, lol. Thanks for the compliments... I'll pass them on to the wee one.
Local PDs hold benefit football game for my brave little buddy Grayson. Kudos to them...
https://youtu.be/dYrTEpsnQMk
Nice! I saw that advertised but didn't realize it was the same Grayson that you posted about here.
Thanks! She's walking like a maniac too now. My niece can hardly keep up with her.
We went to the Free Thanksgiving dinner at Marley's and we saw GC & his Mom. I came to HL to thank the family and many volunteers. I got sucked into this thread. I have been MIA for a while for many reasons which I will keep to myself but I am pleasantly surprised to see this thread. I must admit I went thru the whole thread. It's been a while but boy these kids are growing too fast! They are still as beautiful as they were the day they were born. Here is a picture of my two grandsons from NC. Jaren is the oldest and in 4th grade. 9 yrs old and still smart as a whip. Still lives to read and is reading 7th grade level. Julian is 5 yrs old and in Kindergarten. Is pretty average except for 1 thing, Math. They do not teach math in their kindergarten but ask this kid a plus or minus question and he figures it out. He facetimes me and always asks me to do a math question. If it's too easy he will say,'Gammy that's too easy ask a real hard question". He gets it everytime. Lol! They have my heart for sure.
This is our oldest grandson. Lives in Queens NY. In 6th grade and a ladies boy he is. Reminds me of Bergey. Anyway is in 6th grade. Goes to Junior high next year. Is the sweetest kid. Smart and very kind to everyone. This was in his Boy Scout Derby. He won for Best looking car.
Welcome back, Christine. Your boys have gotten so big. This thread is going strong.
Realized I haven't posted my little mister in a long time. He'll be 4.5 in January.
Little mister (and his big sister) have a little brother. I was sure this one was a girl and was wrong again. Everyone's doing well. Looking forward to bringing him home to meet his siblings.
Congratulations Tracy! Your family must be thrilled Poor Lucky, probably thinking, Not Again, LOL.
Such wonderful news, Tracy!!! You already had such a beautiful family!!!...Great hubby, a beautiful son and daughter and now another beautiful baby boy...We are very happy for you...and, Yes, even "Lucky"...he may not show it but he loves every minute of all this too!!!!
