Hackettstown Council to consider municipal budget adoption

Town Council on Monday, June 22 will consider adopting the proposed $9 million 2009 municipal budget, which includes a property tax increase of 3.8 cents per $100 of assessed value (or $38 on each $100,000 of assessed property value).

Also during Monday's meeting, council will hold a public hearing on a proposed ordinance to establish a new stop intersection at Valentine and Beatty streets.
