Centenary College project draws union protest

Scabby the Rat, the inflatable symbol of unhappy unions, made an appearance this week at Centenary College, as two area trade unions picketed a construction job, the college confirmed in a statement Friday.

The college contracted Abington, PA based E. Allen Reeves to manage construction of the new David and Carol Lackland Center. The firm is responsible for picking workers for the various trades required for the project.
