Record numbers turn to food pantry at Trinity

January saw a record number of people turning to The Lord's Food Pantry, the food ministry of Trinity United Methodist Church in Hackettstown.

A total of 198 families requested food from the pantry, which was 14 percent higher than September and 25 percent higher than January 2008. These families included 298 adults, 220 children and 42 seniors.
