Doc South returns via Internet Radio

About a year removed from his days on WRNJ-AM 1510, disc jockey Richard Tomlinson -- known on the airwaves as Doc South -- has launched an Internet radio station. On the air about three weeks, the show features scheduled live broadcasts from the Chatterbox Drive-In in Augusta, N.J., interspersed with a 46-hour-long loop. The content is reminiscent of the "Front Porch" show Tomlinson started at the Hackettstown-area station about five years ago, toward the end of his nearly two decades on the staff. There are oldies from the 1920s to the '70s and Doc South stories, like the one about the 1958 Flightliner bicycle he got for Christmas as a kid.
