Hackettstown Council during its Monday, April 14 meeting is planning to authorize the municipal engineer to advertise the Warren Street reconstruction project for bid.
The estimated $370,000 project, expected to be completed this summer, will include the repaving of the roadway and replacement of the badly deteriorating sidewalks.
Also during the meeting the council will hold a public hearing on a proposed ordinance to amend its land development ordinance to delete senior housing in certain zones and, in its place, permit multi-family residential and commercial as conditional uses.
