The Second Annual Hackettstown Fiesta will be held May 3rd from 11am-6pm throughout the Hackettstown business district. The Fiesta is brought to you by the Hackettstown Business Improvement District (BID) in partnership with Trinity United Methodist Church.

The Fiesta will feature a host of things to do, including sidewalk sales from local businesses, two trolleys, which will take people from the business corridor to the Spring Festival, and live entertainment, featuring the Hackettstown Jazz Band, the Hackettstown Choir, and various other rock bands.

The Fiesta will also feature a scavenger hunt that will run from 11am-3pm, three winners will be chosen with each winning $100 in BID Bucks. Trinity Church will be holding multicultural events in front of the church and at the Gazebo, and the Hackettstown Pet Store will be holding a Best Dressed Pet Contest.

BID Executive Director, David Rucki says, "Building on the success of last years event we realized there was a need for two trolleys, even more live entertainment, and more business participation." He added, "This event is geared towards showcasing our entire business district but more specifically our multicultural business community."

This is the same weekend as the Hackettstown Spring Festival at Centenary College, which is sponsored by the Warren County Regional Chamber of Commerce. When asked how the two trolleys will be utilized, Rucki said, by having two trolleys in town it's a great way to get to and from both events.

"There's no better way to showcase the town of Hackettstown then by having these two events happening at the same time." Rucki added, "Come into town, park for free in our parking lots, enjoy the Fiesta events, then take the trolley up to the Spring Festival."
