What’s the closest Greek restaurant to us? A few weeks ago I was in Little Falls and planned on getting lunch at Stamna, but they were on vacation. Aaagggghhhh!!!!
My favorites are Sofia's in Hasbrouck Heights, Angelo's Greek Taverna in Maywood, definitely not the closest but worth the drive..
Theodora's in Wharton has a lot of Greek items on their menu, but have never tried them.
Theodora's in Wharton has excellent Gyros.
Jimmy's in Phillipsburg have great Gyros, my fave so far.

Thank you for all of the recommendations. Will have to check out a few of these places.
The gyros at Harry's Place are delicious, for sure. But, they use pre-packaged frozen meat rather than a store-made cone. I know that matters to some people.
Off the spit is the way to go.
Döner kebab sandwich in Germany are even better than gyros. with a tall boot of local beer.
just my opinion. some people like halal guys in nyc. i thought it was ok but wouldnt buy again from them.
There's going to be a food truck called "Rolling Pita" at the Hopatcong food truck and car show fest this weekend, I've heard they're highly rated, but I haven't tried them myself, so buyer be aware.
