Small garage sale in a public park
Does anyone know if a permit is needed to do a small garage sale in a public park in Hackettstown? If yes where should I go to get it?

EVV You would need a permit for a garage sale on private property... but I don't think you are allowed to hold one on public property. At best, you would likely need to furnish an insurance certificate, which would greatly reduce any potential profits. But, like EVV suggested, contact the Town Clerk to verify.

GC to hold a "special event" at our park you would need approval from both rec committee and town council and I honestly don't see either approving a garage sale to be held at the park.
