Armed robbery Mountain Avenue
Anyone hear anything about an armed robbery on the 300 block of Mountain Avenue? It occurred around 10:30pm on Friday 2/12. Confirmed it was NOT Mama's Pizza.
Kevin According to Facebook it was the Friendly's that got robbed, suspect fled on foot.

Press Release (2/13/21): Friendly’s Robbery
The Hackettstown Police Department is currently investigating a robbery that occurred on Friday, February 12, 2021 between 9:30 p.m. and 9:40 p.m. at the Friendly’s Restaurant (304 Mountain Ave).
The unknown suspect passed a note to the employee demanding money and reportedly had a gun but no gun was shown. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen.
The suspect then fled the restaurant and was last seen running northbound between the old Zane’s Car Wash building and Mountain Ave.
The male suspect was last seen wearing a black ski mask, aviator type sunglasses, an all blue Domino's jacket (possibly windbreaker style) and dark pants.
We’re asking anyone in that area to check their surveillance video for any footage of the suspect.
Anyone with information or has surveillance video regarding this case is encouraged to call the Hackettstown Police Department at 908-852-3300 or send an anonymous tip by texting 888-777 and in the message part you must first type “TIP HACKPD” then type your tip.

Whip What is odd about the video is there is no way out of Mama's property on that side of the building unless one were to scale a fence. Perhaps he came back out the same way and the footage was not supplied.
