every article about his death should make it clear he was a convicted murderer and his victim was named Lana Clarkson. It's shameful that so many news sources are focusing on his musical influence without acknowledging he killed an innocent person and was deranged and in possession of many firearms. He was known for brandishing weapons and firing them often even in recording studios. It was only a matter of time before someone was killed.

Don’t get me wrong.
Anyone that brandishes a gun at a Beatles recording session is more than a little **** up.
I’ll remember him as a musical savant that beat his wife and murdered a defenseless young woman.
