Good Local Hotels?
Have family (2 adults, 2 girls) looking for a reasonable and safe hotel in or close to Hackettstown to stay for 3 nights first weekend in October.. Any recommendations?

Nosila Holiday Inn at ITC is good. Try to use booking.com, kayak.com or Expedia for discounts. Better to pay a tad more and be safe.
For reals 
BC BC, that looks very nice inside, but doesn't seem like a good spot for kids. They probably want a regular hotel and pool, restaurants, etc, and not a B n B. But, it sure looks very nice in there! Looks like a good spot for out of town people in for a wedding.
DogDayAfternoonHoliday Inn has an indoor pool though I’m not sure if it’s open. There’s also a Marriott in Mount Arlington. Not too much in the Hackettstown area.
Checking Hotels.com it seems your best bet, especially for the money may be the Super 8 by Wyndham on Rt 46 in Budd Lake:

The Residence Inn by Marriott on International Drive is rated close to the same though a slightly lower 8.0, compared to an 8.2, but it seems to be over $100 per night more expensive. It depends on what they like as far as extras, which may be limited at this time anyway.
The Quality Inn by Taco Bell on Rt. 57 is rated a 7.6 and our company used to put visitors up there all the time, though I'm not sure about now. They cost about the same as the Super 8 and are a closer drive, which may be more important to y'all than the .6 difference in rating. Here's its page:

Phil D. One more thought.....if Rockaway Mall is not too far... Nice Hilton there. Also a few nice chain hotels off route 80 in Mt. Arlington.
