Home Inspectors
I'm afraid my go to for home inspections might be too busy, and I may need to "cheat on him." I did some searching and found some old/locked threads from 2015 & 2016, and was wondering if anyone had some recent insights and recommendations on home inspectors.
Route 46Better Home Inspections - Ron Demott - 973 770 1213 - Excellent - used him 3-4 times. Most recently august 2019 - very thorough
marjon Marjon - That's my guy. No openings for 2 weeks, and I'd like to move a bit faster than that.
Kyle Kubs from Benchmark Inspections - the best I have run across in 20 years of helping customers buy and sell their homes - he is very good at providing a readable report rather than just a bunch of meaningless checkmarks.

Monty Never go through a realtor recommendation. These inspectors are too concerned with keeping business with the realtor who is really most concerned with making a sale.
