For those heading to 80 on 517...its closed at the traffic light in front of panther valley...with one little tiny sign

Can anyone update if it opens up? Wanna let my wife know so she knows which way to come home.
Just an FYI, you can always contact the police non-emergency number to find out if roads are open or closed.

htownguy when you get off 80, you can only go straight thru Allamuchy or get back onto 80 to hope or budd lake. 517 closed both ways there, as of 30 mins ago!

My grandaughter tried that and it worked. She is on my guest list. Trying to get to work at the Panther Valley Mall. Around 4 PM.

I got off 80 West at Exit 19. I had to get back on 80 East and went through Stanhope to Netcong and took 46 West back to Hackettstown.

Nova Closed at Panther Valley development. had to drive back to Rt. 46 to go east!!!
TJS From Hackettstown, you can reach the Shell station on the Panther Valley side of I-80. The barrier is just past Bald Eagle Road.
Monty 517 is still closed from Panther Valley Entrance to 80 East Entrance (Rutherfurd Hall) and then from Shell gas station (past 80 entrance) to Pub 517.
Somebody needs to report the closure in the Waze app. I tried editing the map from my work computer, but apparently my Waze status is not high enough to edit the map.
Please update this by 4:00 p.m. please if anyone knows for sure if it's still closed or opened.

Bob When I went by at 7:30am, I was able to drive past the barrier, but could not get onto I-80W. Could only get onto I-80E, as the West entrance was blocked completely at the light before that. Can we get through to 80W now?
Bob: Barricaded between Panther Valley Development entrance and Rt. 80 going northbound.
also blocked off by Shell to the North side of Rt. 517 last night.
Went by 35 Min ago and 517 was barricded at the Shell at rt 80 and was also barricaded down at Pub 517 going towards rt 80

Bev Bighead you can get onto 80 east from 517 and off 80 w onto 517 s. as of 30 minutes ago. 517 north of 80 still closed
Confused. if you drive past Panther Valley, which would be on your Left, would you be able to enter Rt. 80 East or Rt. 80 West?

You can enter Rt. 80 East, but you cannot access the entrance of Rt. 80 West from Panther Valley.
Yes. 517 is open past the pond & both 80 E & W are accessible. 517 N is closed @ Allamuchy village. Need to take a left into 612 towards Johnsonburg.

Iamrite didn't someone say yesterday that there were no road blocks going on Rt. 517 to Rt. 80. So I went this morning on 517 and there was a barricade just past Panther Valley development. Forget Rt. 80, b ut people were crossing the barricades.
can someone answer for 7:30 pm on Wed, please: if coming from Hackettstown, w/ panther valley on your LEFT, can you get onto Rt. 80 westbound (or eastbound).

Going North on Rt. 517 is opened to both directions of Rt. 80.
I'm not sure if Rt.517 is still blocked off by the Shell gas station north of Rt. 80.
