Why do people wait to hear? If it's slick out or you can't get their safely and so on: don't send your child or don't go. It's only school, not the ER for medical care. Just sayin.

DDA, what do you care? some people have work schedules that are disrupted by snow days, so they like to have as much time as possible to make alternate arrangements for child care. I'm guessing you don't have kids...
