Favorite Christmas Carol
What is everybody's favorite Christmas carol(s) for the holidays? ...I like them all but I still think that O Holy Night is one of my favorites. Believe it or not I like both Nat King Cole's and Mariah Carey's the best..Guess I am kind of bipolar, lol.
What are your favorites...____________________
Happy Holidays

White Christmas...but must admit on Christmas Eve in Church when the organist starts to play "Joy to the World"...and my friends glance my way...I have a very good feeling inside...
Ave Maria
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
Snoopy's Christmas
All I Want For Christmas Is You
The First Noel
Angel's We Have Heard On High
Baby It's Cold Outside
Sleigh Ride
Just like a potato chip. Can't eat just one. I can't pick just one. I do love Christmas music.
I'd perfectly happy to never hear another Christmas carol, but I really love Willie Nelson's 'Pretty Paper'.
Silent Night for me; I was born on Christmas Eve. I love many other Christmas Carols but Silent Night is my very favorite.

This one's not really well known, I've never heard WRNJ play it but that certainly does not mean it isn't good … I find it to be the perfect, not overdone, Christmas tune :-D
Wow, these are all great responses.
Thanks so much. I am learning a ]] lot.
What happened to the Waitresses. does anyone know
And Lou, the song you posted is beautiful.
Thanks for sharing it.
Anyone else?
I love All I Want for Christmas by Maria Carey:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXQViqx6GMY
...and all of Vince Guaraldi's Christmas music (Peanuts)..."A Charlie Brown Christmas", especially "What Child Is This".
Sadly, the singer of the Waitresses passed away from cancer a while ago. The bass player worked on the Rosie O’Donnell show in the ‘90’s. Don’t know where the rest are now.
My second favorite is the Pogues and Kirsty MacColl “Fairy Tale of New York”.
This one of "We wish you a Merry Christmas"....

Judy Garland version in Meet Me In St Louis is the absolute best!

Merry Christmas All.
And speaking of bah humbug and Christmas carols...….as I dig farther back in family history, imagine finding the poor sap named Ebenezer Danger who was born just before a certain 1843 book pretty much ended use forever :>( Merry Dickens to you......
Alice's is really a Thanksgiving Carol...…
For Arlo, and Xmas ------ you want The Pause of Mr. Claus, and, of course, the associated tale worth telling:
8 minutes, it's a story, grab a drink, drink it, and then --- sit back and laugh.
sorry, can't find live version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17gKw_j6Qq0
