Outdoor fun this weekend?
Looking for ideas and suggestions for something fun to do outside this weekend! We have a 19 month old so looking for something we can all enjoy. We thought about the Turtleback Zoo but we went to the Bronx zoo last week. We also thought about Land of Make Believe but I don't think there's a ton for him to do there since he's under 2 and it's too chilly for the water park. Any ideas would be appreciated!!
This place is great! A park with playground and a zoo. Van Saun Park and Bergen County Zoo. They have a small train and carousel as well. Look up both places. Even though they are at the same location, they have different websites.

Do the Land of Make Believe without the water park. The old section and rides for little kids, petting zoo, etc...should be plenty for a two year old. The cooler weather is perfect for it. Go see Santa!
Warren County Antique Show at the Warren County Fair Grounds--- but don't count on getting food there.............
The Allamuchy Country Fair is coming Sept 6,7,8.

The event at the Waterloo field this weekend is the Let it All Hang Out Festival. A bunch of Woodstock cover bands and vendors. $10 to park, $65 at the door.

Thanks Greg
Sorry about that folks - I saw the signs for the Allamuchy Fest as I was going by the concert field area and thought that's what was going on. I didn't see any signs for the Let It All Hang Out Fest. I probably missed those ones:-(
They didn't advertise the Woodstock show much at all and it had a low turnout unfortunately. the electricity was out for 5 hours on Saturday with no stage music. 2 bands did acoustic on the lawn only. 2 bands at the end wound up w/ electricity. the headliner was Constantine Moroulis from "American Idol". He was very entertaining!
Vegfest at the Meadowlands -- November 16 & 17. Today (Oct. 15) is the last day to buy *discounted* tickets -- $10 one day, $15 both days. Prices go up $5 tomorrow.
