Plant a tree

Does anyone have any ideas of locations local cub scouts and girl scouts can plant a tree this spring? Preferably some place public where they could visit one day and see what there efforts grew into.

I would try a local school and dedicated the tree to a teacher who has retired or passed away …

Excellent suggestion, Skippy. If not right in Cbel's Garden there, I am sure the Library would love a new tree and especially one with a dedication of sorts behind it from the Scouts or any other group..

You could call the Warren County Library. 908 813- 3858. I am sure they would be more than happy to receive one there. And who wouldn't enjoy a tree to find a peaceful moment to read beside? Wherever it gets planted may it be a wonderful addition to the nature that surrounds us! :)

We called the library and explained it was for scouts and they said a flat out no. I was surprised myself but it is what it is.
