RIP Peter Tork
So sad. He was my favorite Monkee.

I believe that he was in a blues band and performed at Centenary quite a few years ago. Am I correct on this? I'm in shock. Really sad. You're at peace now Peter Tork. I loved the music of the Monkee's.
I spoke to a DJ today at WNTI and Peter did perform at Centenary with his band back in the 90's. He also performed at the Stanhope House with his band.
Peter Tork also performed outside at a free concert in his blues band at Warren County College, probably around the same time at Centenary College, which I wasn't even aware of.
I saw the WCC show about 10 years ago, perhaps around 2009.
You're talking in the 1990s at Centenary?
It was 2009 at WCCC. I was there, too, at a carnival which WCCC held that September as a nice "farewell to summer" event that raised some money toward student scholarships.
Hard to believe many from the 60's musical genre are pushing 80 years old these days. RIP Peter Tork...

Thanks for that, Andy. I would have liked seeing the band at some point. RIP Peter. So sorry for his physical problems. I know that it was tough.
You're quite welcome. The Monkees were at their peak during my teen years … of all their hits, this one was and continues to be my favorite.

I never heard about the 2010 show at Centenary. Peter Karp is talented also. Guess I wasn't on the mailing list 9 years ago or looked in the newspaper enough.
