Casino bus trip to Sands leaving from Wendy’s on March 30th

Has anyone tried to get reservations on this trip. There is a sign at Wendy’s. Not sure who is putting this together, one of the clubs I think. My girlfriend called the number to sign three of us for the trip and never got a phone call back. Guess they are not interested in having people signup. Please let me know if you have any information other than what’s on the post at Wendy’s. Thanks

The add I saw is that it is being run by the Elks lodge. I haven’t tried to call yet. But it is good to know that one at PV goes regularly.

Yes it’s run from the elks club and you got bonuses from this trip. The buses from PV I believe don’t give you anything. You never get a return phone call from whomever is running this bus trip.

Still no answer about whether you just show up and hope you have a seat. No one returns your phone call.

Sure wish someone had some information on this trip

Good point. Wendy's is open from 10:00 AM - 1:00 AM daily.

Unfortunately this trip was cancelled. Was really looking forward to going. Another thing cancelled due to no interest. Every time there is a good thing that people try to do for the community, no one wants to do it. I still can’t figure what people do around here.

sunflower 01, many different organizations sponsor these trips and they do happen - check local Facebook pages, fraternal organizations, senior developments and centers, etc. Even the town of hackettstown sponsors different bus trips throughout the year geared for seniors http://www.hackettstown.net/recreation/ (scroll down) and browse meetup.com there are more than enough events, outdoor outings and trips out there if you look!
