Pink Road/Rock Salt

Hi, just wondering if anyone can tell me what is the new wave of "pink salt" being put down? it is better, and why? Where can you get it as well

It is dyed so you can see that it is there, and that the area has been treated, supposedly making walking safer. It can be rock salt or calcium chloride depending on what you purchase. Nothing special about it at all.

I just figured for what we pay in taxes they were using Himalayan Pink Salt
