Thanks to Google, you never have to pay VZW or ATTWS $1 to get a phone number ever again.

Just dial 1-800-GOOG-411 (1-800-466-4411) and it will get you the number you need free of charge... except for airtime, of course.

You can also get answers to things like weather, flight times, definitions of words, stock quotes, etc by sending a text message from your cellphone to google...phone number 46645 (googl on the keypad). For instructions on how to do it and what all it will tell you check out http://www.google.com/intl/en_us/mobile/default/sms.html . If you go to www.google.com/labs you can see other things to do with google as well as things that may become available in the future.
