Get well soon, Christine! Demerol!! I've been there with this one, and go straight to the serious pain killers, no substitute. Hey, Christine you BETTER get well soon. Thanx Bergey for letting us know, please keep us informed Clyde Potts Jan 4, 09 9:57 am I just met Christine yesterday at her store and she was so nice! She had told me she didn't feel well and that she would be leaving early to go to the doctor. She was afraid it might be a kidney stone but of course we both hoped it wasn't. I'm so sorry you're feeling so terribly Christine. I wish you a speedy recovery! Hope your stay in the hospital is very short and you are back on your feet in no time. Christine, best wishes for a rapid recovery. When you get out, I prescribe lots of vodka and cranberry juice to keep those kidneys flushed (-; Christine, Hope you are feeling better soon. You are in my thoughts and prayers. At least it wasn't the cookies that did you in! Thanks for the post Bergey. You are a DH! Sorry to hear that, wishing you well and for a quick recovery with no more problems with them in the future!! Wishes for a quick and speedy recovery Christine! I've been there/done that and truly hope yours passes quickly and without issues! ianimal - Juice = good, but alcohol is a no-no with a stone. It's dehydrating and depending on what kind of stone can be part of the issue to begin with. Oh no, you poor thing! Christine - feel better soon! (((HUGS))) to you - you're in my thoughts and prayers!
Get Well Christine, You're in my thoughts. Peggy Jan 4, 09 8:26 pm Christine, Hey Christine. Prayers for a quick recovery. Just remember, if they offer pain killers, take them!!!!! update she is still in the hospital the stone has rapped itself around a nerve causeing bad pain she is not feeling that much better. not sure what thay are going to do. Bergey Jan 5, 09 10:22 pm Bergey - I had lithotripsy done down in Newark when I had my stone - they blasted it with ultrasonic waves (that you don't feel) and then the stone passes like sand - quite easily. Just an idea to ask about -- hope she's feeling better soon -- I remember those narcotic days of my stone and I feel for her :( Wow very sorry to hear that. Been there. I hope they keep you heavily medicated. If this is your first, you are now part of an elite group of people who have had this pain. And we all wish you a speedy recovery. Oh wow - I'm so sorry to hear you are sick Christine - I hope you feel better soon!! Bergey, Christine; So sorry to hear that you are under the weather, hope you are back on your feet soon.
