Snow 2/17
maybe I'll finally get to use my snow blower? People will flock to the grocery store to make French toast.

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches are possible.

* WHEN...From Saturday evening into very early Sunday morning.

Crap. It's my regular day to go to Shop Rite today. It's going to be a zoo later.
Lol Calico I was just thinking the same thing...I had planned to go last night and never made it. Now that snow is in the forecast I am definitely regretting that decision. My quick Shoprite trip just turned into a 2 hour ordeal by the time all is said and done...:(:(
We need a big snowstorm to stop the Flu pandemic and keep people home for a few days. But with no ice or power outages...just my feelings

I was at the Byram Shop Rite at 12 pm & it was quiet there! I was so shocked but delighted that I didn't have to fight the crowds!
I'm sure Washington Shop Rite will be a nightmare by the time I get there around 4:30. My only hope is that people will still plan on going during the day tomorrow since the snow is not supposed to start until around dinner time.
Yes, Shop Rite actually wasn't too bad. I'm hearing it's supposed to start around sunset.
Wow Shoprite was practically empty! I just heard snow starting at 4 tomorrow but the heaviest between 8-12
Shop Rite?? Lets get our priorities straight. LOL
Bottle King was quiet, in and out fast.
Actually, Shop Rite in Mansfield was very quiet as well tonight.
Here is a random fact about the Mansfield Shop Rite. The yogurt section takes up 45 feet of aisle space. That is one of the few singular items that takes up that kind of real estate in the store.
Hey Greg,
Gut microbiota is the hot topic of the day.
LOL
Along with the yogurt is kefir & kombucha too.

The thread-the-needle aspect involves this system perfectly timing the the precipitation to coincide with colder air present to produce snow, sandwiched in between an otherwise milder pattern, both before and after this system.

Actually right across from the yogurt is a longer area of bread, it goes past the yogurt into the egg section.
Roads are atrocious! Snow is coming down too fast for cleanup. Be safe everyone :)
So much for 4-6 inches. There's 6 inches out there already it shows no sign of slowing.
Just got in from my second shoveling pass. Only doing the bare minimum of a path off the deck and down the steps to the garage. First pass 3", second pass 4". Still snowing!
So glad we got home around 4:15 just when it was starting. I hear the roads are bad. Be careful out there...
Was out at the mall and movies got out around 630 80 was a complete mess doing 20 mph and cars stuck everywhere!! They weren’t even plowing or sanding/salting it was so much to keep up with. Be careful out there!! Glad I made it home safe and sound
Snow blowing question - Is there a town noise ordinance (In Hackettstown) that states when you can start to use a power snow-blower in the morning?
We have at least 9 our back on the mountain in LV. The dog loves running, actually leaping, through it:)
Daisy was out there hopping like a bunny! She loves the snow. It's hard to believe it's going to be 70 degrees on Wednesday.
Here are the snow totals from the weekend storm.

Now these have been my kind of snowstorms. Here today, gone tomorrow or the next. Keep it up, today is gorgeous.
Same here justwondering! It's when the snow comes and sticks around for weeks/months that is so depressing.
I will take this kind of Winter every year:)
